Day 1:
Thimphu to Punakha via Dochula Pass
Depart from Thimphu after breakfast, driving through the breathtaking Dochula Pass. Stop to admire the 108 chortens and panoramic views of the Himalayas. Continue to Punakha and visit the Punakha Dzong, strategically located at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers. Day 2:
Exploring Punakha
Morning hike to Chimi Lhakhang, also known as the Fertility Temple, located amidst picturesque paddy fields. It's a gentle walk, offering insights into local legends and Bhutanese rural life. Afternoon visit to the Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten, a unique monument that stands as a testament to Bhutanese architectural and artistic traditions. Day 3:
Simtokha Dzong and To Paro
Morning drive back to Paro. En route, stop at Simtokha Dzong, the oldest dzong in Bhutan, offering a glimpse into the evolution of Bhutanese dzong architecture. Afternoon at leisure in Paro, with options to visit local handicraft shops or enjoy a traditional Bhutanese meal.

Day 4:
Taktsang Monastery and Departure
Start early for the hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest), one of Bhutan's most revered and picturesque sites. The hike is both a physical and spiritual journey, culminating in stunning views and a profound sense of peace. Return to Paro and prepare for your departure, reflecting on the serene and enriching experiences in Punakha and Paro.
