Flight to Bumthang

Day 2:  

Sacred Sites of Bumthang

Explore Jambay Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples in the kingdom, said to be founded by a Tibetan king in the 7th century. Visit Kurjey Lhakhang, where Guru Rinpoche left his body imprint on a rock, and Tamshing Lhakhang, known for its ancient religious paintings. The evening offers a chance to relax or explore more of Bumthang's serene environment.

Day 3: 

Bumthang's Cultural Insights

Weaving Bhutan Saidpiece

Spend the day visiting local artisan shops, where you can see traditional weaving and woodworking. Explore the Bumthang Brewery and a local cheese factory to taste unique Bhutanese products.

Day 4: 

Nature and Spirituality

Embark on a hike through the Bumthang Valley, exploring its natural beauty and visiting hidden temples and meditation spots. Visit Mebar Tsho (The Burning Lake), a sacred site where treasures were discovered by the famous treasure revealer, Terton Pema Lingpa. Hike to Taktsang Monastery
